Ordering Cabinetry & Furniture
-
At present, we do not have an e-commerce store, though that is in the works. For now, we ask Customers to contact us by email, phone, or text message to place an order—or to ask questions about an item.

Please email, text, or call to place an order.
Include the following: the item you wish to order, any customizations you need, and your zip code so that we can estimate shipping.
We’re happy to answer questions and work with you until you have exactly what you need; once all that is clear, we will email you a “custom order verification” so that you can double-check everything is correct, and we’ll invoice you via a secure online payment portal (Square or Stripe).
-
We will give you a timeline estimate when you inquire, but, generally speaking, we run 3-5 weeks out.
-
Yes, you pay for the cost of your item upfront. Payment must clear before you’re put on the schedule.
We do not charge for shipping until the item is completed, however. Once it’s finished, we’ll send photos and request the shipping charge.
-
No, shipping is not included in the price. Rather than adding a flat premium to the cost of the item, we prefer to charge a shipping fee based on how far the item has to travel. When you contact us, please include your location and we’ll give you a shipping estimate.
For reference, most range hoods cost between $415-$455 to ship; that includes the materials we need to build a custom crate.
-
For all smaller items, we ship UPS ground. We ship in a custom wood crate, built by us, so that your item will arrive undamaged. But, we also ship with full insurance, on the off chance something happens in transit. Once your item is finished and shipping has been paid, we ship within 1-2 business days.
If you are purchasing a larger piece of furniture, center island, or very large vent hood, we have to ship LTL freight, which can be challenging to estimate since it depends on who happens to be driving the route at the time your item is ready to go. Please expect freight estimates to take several days to obtain, and there is a much larger window for delivery as well. Alternately, if you work with a trusted carrier, you are more than welcome to arrange transport.
Customers are also welcome to pick up at our shop in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Simon is an old-school craftsman who makes use of newer technologies that don’t denigrate the product. He does not use a CNC machine, and his designs are created by hand.
For cabinetry, he uses high-quality cabinet plywood for the carcasses, glued and screwed. Drawers are always hardwood sides/back and either dovetailed or mortise & tenon joinery—not flimsy, nailed plywood drawers. Face-frames are hardwood; species dependent on Customer needs and preferences.
Furnishings, such as tables, are always hardwood with mortise & tenon or dovetail joinery—or a combination thereof.
Exterior gates, by default, are Cypress, which is superior to Cedar for weather resistance, and are constructed with mortise and tenon joinery. Interior gates are usually a hardwood like Maple.
Simon does not use MDF or particle board, nor does he use nails or staples instead of joinery as do so many large manufacturers.
-
No. You must purchase your own insert for range hoods. We ask that you send us the one you plan to use so that Simon can make sure it will work before you purchase it, and so that he can create the proper sized opening according to its specs.
-
No! Simon spent decades building and installing high-end, traditionally-built cabinetry. He recently developed a style that makes installing range hoods way easier. It’s easy enough for our Customers to do it themselves—but if you have an installer, they’ll be thrilled with this design!
