Easy-Install Modern Farmhouse Wooden Range Hood Cover | 36-inch
Description:
Handmade custom vent hood cover. High-quality cabinet-grade plywood and real wood trim accents (not finger-jointed). Made by me in my cabinet shop in Oklahoma. I do not use MDF in my cabinetry (unless specifically requested marine-grade for exterior applications), and I do not use CNC machines—only reliable, time-tested techniques and joinery.
This will come PRIMED but not painted. The primed finish will show some minor imperfections, including spots where it's been filled, but these will not show up if you put at least two good coats of quality paint on it.
Size:
36" tall, 33-1/2" wide without the crown (36" total width with crown/trim), and 18" deep (19 3/4" total depth with the crown).. Does not include the interior fan mechanism.
This vent hood cover will fit most standard 24-inch mechanical inserts. If you’re uncertain about your insert, just reach out.
Installation:
I have designed this for easy install. It is a two-piece unit, so your contractor can hang the first portion, install the mechanical unit (not included) and ducting, and then slide the second part in to finish it up. After years of struggling to install the mechanics myself, I came up with a design that prioritizes installation without compromising strength or aesthetics.
Timeframe:
My items are usually made to order, but occasionally I have one ready to go out. Most orders go out in 3-5 weeks—all depending on my schedule. If you need a more specific timeframe, please inquire and I’ll let you know how quickly I can get to it.
Shipping:
The price includes shipping (which is quite expensive on an item this large/heavy) in a custom-sized wooden crate via UPS, fully insured. A signature is required upon delivery.
Customizations:
Most of what I do is custom, so I can build anything you’d like. If you just need to modify this design slightly (such as a minor size change) and you don’t need a computerized mock-up, there’s no additional fee for the customization. If it’s something more substantial, there is a $150 fee and that includes a computerized sketch so that you can approve the design.
I am happy to talk over customization by email, phone, or text message.

2. To order, simply click “add to cart” and check out. Alternately, you may reach out and I can invoice you via Square invoices.
3. Once I receive your order, I will draw up a custom order verification form that details measurements, etc., and have you review it for corrections, then sign and submit it to me. As soon as I receive that form you’ll be on my bench calendar.
4. As soon as your order if finished, I will email you with photos and prepare it for shipment. I ask that you respond to the emailed pics before I actually ship out just in case there are any special considerations I need to know about (such as if you’ll be on vacation when it delivers).
